The World Cement Association (WCA) recently celebrated a major milestone during its 9th General Assembly, bringing together member organizations from around the world to reflect on the past year, recognize new leadership, and discuss the priorities shaping the future of the global cement industry.
Held virtually in July, the annual meeting served as both a review of the Association’s accomplishments and an opportunity to strengthen collaboration as the industry continues to evolve in response to changing technologies, sustainability goals, and global infrastructure demands.

This year’s General Assembly also marked the WCA’s 10th anniversary, highlighting a decade of bringing together cement producers, suppliers, and industry leaders under a single international organization dedicated exclusively to the cement sector.
