Four people smile behind a CEMEX-branded registration table with paperwork, pens, and event materials at a company or community event.

ICR joined CEMEX and members of the local industry community for a day of connection, teamwork, and support at the company’s annual golf tournament.

ICR Staffing Services was proud to attend and assist with CEMEX’s Annual Golf Tournament on October 17, 2026, at Ashwood Golf Course in Apple Valley. The annual event brought people together outside of the typical work environment for a day centered on golf, conversation, and industry relationships.

For ICR, participating in events like the tournament is about more than simply showing up. It provides another opportunity to support the companies and industries we work alongside throughout the year while strengthening the relationships behind that work.

Supporting the Industry Beyond the Workplace

ICR representatives attended the tournament and helped with the event throughout the day, continuing a relationship with an industry that has long been an important part of ICR’s work.

CEMEX operates across the construction-materials sector, including cement, ready-mix concrete and aggregates. Those industries depend on people working across operations, maintenance, safety, logistics, and numerous other functions to keep facilities and projects moving.

For ICR, understanding those industries means doing more than filling positions. It means staying connected with the people and organizations behind the operations.

Events like the annual golf tournament create an opportunity for conversations that don’t always happen during the normal workday. Away from production schedules, hiring needs, and day-to-day responsibilities, industry professionals have a chance to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones.

Relationships Matter in Heavy Industry

Mining, cement, aggregates, and other industrial operations are built around teamwork.

That extends beyond the employees working inside a facility. Contractors, staffing partners, suppliers, safety professionals, and other organizations often play a role in supporting an operation’s larger goals.

The relationships developed between those groups can become especially valuable when workforce needs change, new challenges arise, or an operation needs additional support.

That’s one reason ICR continues to place an emphasis on being an active partner rather than simply a staffing provider.

Since 1989, ICR has worked to build lasting relationships throughout the industries and communities we serve. Being present at events like CEMEX’s tournament gives our team another opportunity to stay connected with those partners outside of the normal business setting.

A Day of Connection in Apple Valley

The October 17 tournament offered a chance to step away from the usual work environment and spend time with people who help keep the region’s industrial sector moving.

ICR was glad to be part of the day, not only as an attendee, but also by lending a hand with the event.

We appreciate CEMEX for bringing people together and giving industry partners an opportunity to connect. ICR is proud to continue supporting the companies, employees, and relationships that contribute to a strong industrial community.
