We are seeking a meticulous and organized individual to join our team as a Weighmaster at our cement plant. The Weighmaster plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate measurement and documentation of materials in compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures.

Responsibilities:

Material Weighing:

• Operate weighing equipment to accurately measure incoming and outgoing materials such as cement, aggregates, additives, and other raw materials.
• Verify quantities and ensure adherence to specified weight limits for trucks and containers.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

• Maintain detailed records of all incoming and outgoing materials, including weight measurements, truck information, and material types.
• Prepare shipping and receiving documents accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Quality Control:

• Monitor material quality and report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of weighing equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

Communication and Coordination:

• Communicate effectively with truck drivers, plant operators, and other team members to facilitate smooth operations.
• Coordinate with logistics and production teams to prioritize material handling activities as per production schedules.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in industrial weighing operations is preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Familiarity with weighing equipment and systems; experience with scales, weighbridges, and related software is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices relevant to industrial operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing production demands.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed.
