We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to fill a local High Desert opportunity. You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems.
Responsibilities:
- Repair heavy equipment, diesel trucks, trash trucks, and other motor vehicles
- Specialize in vehicle transmission systems, air breaks, and hydraulic systems
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to placing as operational.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a diesel mechanic
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
