We are seeking dependable Clean-Up Laborers for a short-term project at a port facility. This position involves physically demanding work in a hot, dusty, and dirty environment. Employees will be required to wear Tyvek suits and other required PPE throughout the shift. Candidates must be comfortable working long hours, performing manual labor, and working in varying weather conditions.

No TWIC Card or MSHA Certification Required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform general facility and worksite clean-up.
• Sweep large work areas and remove debris.
• Shovel material and waste into designated containers.
• Transport materials using wheelbarrows and other hand tools.
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the project.
• Follow all site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist with additional labor duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Comfortable working in hot, dusty, and dirty conditions.
• Must be able to wear a Tyvek suit and required PPE for extended periods.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Previous labor, construction, industrial, warehouse, or clean-up experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.
• Ability to follow directions and work safely in a team environment.
• Must be comfortable working both day and night shifts as needed.

Work Environment

This is an industrial port environment that may be extremely hot, dusty, dirty, and physically demanding. Employees will be required to wear Tyvek suits and other personal protective equipment while performing clean-up duties.

Project Duration: Approximately 1-2 weeks with the possibility of additional work based on project needs.
