Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Solar Field Laborers to assist in the mirror washing of solar panels and general field maintenance. This position requires individuals with prior experience operating equipment such as Zero Turn lawnmower, forklifts, bobcats, trackers, or similar machinery. Successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and cleanliness of solar panel systems, contributing to the overall performance of solar energy facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of solar panel mirrors to optimize energy efficiency.
- Operate and maintain equipment, including zero turn lawnmower, forklifts, bobcats, trackers, and other machinery, as needed.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform general labor tasks such as lifting, moving materials, weed pulling and setting up equipment in the solar field.
- Conduct routine inspections of panels and report any damage, malfunctions, or maintenance needs.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly project goals.
- Adhere to environmental and operational standards to maintain the quality of the solar field.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating equipment such as zero turn lawnmower, forklifts, bobcats, trackers, or similar machinery is required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the solar field location.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow directions from supervisors.
- Prior experience in solar fields, construction, or similar industries is a plus.
- Forklift or equipment operation certification (preferred but not required).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks such as week pulling.
- Comfortable working at heights or using ladders when necessary.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Work Environment:
This position involves working outdoors in solar fields, which may include exposure to heat, cold, and other environmental elements. The role requires adherence to strict safety standards and procedures.
Schedule:
Work hours may vary depending on the season and project needs. Some overtime, weekends, or holidays may be required.
