Position Overview
- Temporary Operations & Fulfillment Technician supporting warehouse, distribution, and inventory operations, position will only be ongoing for a few months, ending around June 2026
- Ensures smooth flow of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies across the facility
- Maintains high standards of quality, safety, organization, and customer service
- Plays a key role in reducing downtime and supporting overall operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and clear incoming materials for use
- Break down, label, and stage materials; communicate with Procurement, Planning, and Quality as needed
- Perform inventory tasks including receiving, stocking, shipping, and cycle counts
- Use ERP systems to document work, process shipments, and track inventory movements
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to load and unload trailers/containers
- Support material handling and shipping/receiving operations as needed
- Use scanners and computerized equipment for accurate product placement
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, including waste removal and floor cleaning
- Participate in safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, vendors, and visitors
- Follow all safety rules, maintain good attendance, and complete other assigned duties
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Recent experience in inventory management and forklift operation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read shipping orders, packing lists, and labels
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and safety-focused
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to wrap, label, and organize products efficiently
- Physically capable of medium-duty work (lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance over 30 lbs)
- Comfortable working around moving equipment, moderate noise levels, and manufacturing odors
- Willing to wear required PPE and cleanroom attire
